Terms of Service

Last updated 14 September 2026

These terms govern your use of Taplo, a product of Clickx Solutions(“Clickx”, “we”, “us”). By opening an account you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you are confirming you may bind it.

What Taplo is

Taplo lets a hospitality business build digital menus, publish them through QR codes, take orders from guests’ own devices, take payment, and see reporting on how its codes and sales perform. We provide the software. You run the restaurant.

Your account

Plans, limits and what they actually mean

Each plan carries defined limits — how many menus, how many dishes and drinks, how many QR codes, how many menu languages, how many team members and branches. These limits are enforced by the software. When you reach one, Taplo will decline the action and tell you which limit you have reached rather than quietly allowing it.

The limits attached to each plan are shown on our pricing page and in your account. We would rather sell you a smaller plan we can honour than a larger promise we cannot, so if a limit is going to get in your way, tell us before you buy.

We may change plans, limits or prices. If a change affects a plan you are paying for, we will give you notice before it applies to you, and you may cancel rather than accept it.

Free plan and trials

The free plan is free and stays free within its limits. Where a paid plan includes a trial, the trial length is shown when you start it. We do not ask for a card to begin on the free plan.

Payment for Taplo

Payments your guests make

This is worth being precise about. When a guest pays through Taplo:

You are responsible for the tax you charge your guests. Taplo can calculate and itemise VAT, NHIL, GETFund, a tourism levy and a service charge using the rates you configure — the rates and their correctness are yours, and we do not file or remit anything on your behalf.

Your content

Your menus, prices, descriptions, photographs and business information remain yours. You give us permission to host them and show them to your guests, which is the service. You confirm you have the right to use what you upload, including photographs.

You are responsible for what your menu says: allergen and ingredient information, prices, and any claim about the food. We cannot check it and do not.

What you may not do

Availability

We work to keep Taplo running and we do not currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee. Saying so is fairer than publishing a figure we have not committed to. We will give notice of planned maintenance where we reasonably can. If you need a service level, talk to us about Enterprise.

Taplo depends on third parties — hosting, the database, the payment provider, networks and SMS carriers. An outage at one of those can stop part of the service, and we will tell you what we know when it happens.

Ending the agreement

Liability

Taplo is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit, lost revenue, lost data or indirect loss, and our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us for Taplo in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we hold about you and your guests. Where we hold guest information, we do so on your behalf, and you are responsible for telling your guests what you collect from them.

Changes

We will update the date above when these terms change and tell our customers about material changes. Continuing to use Taplo after a change means you accept it.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction.
